Graeme was born in Auckland and is a graduate of Otago University. He did post-graduate studies in obstetrics in London. He did obstetrics for 20 years as part of his General Practice. He has also had a long interest in palliative care and worked part-time at Totara Hospice for 14 years. He has been in his general practice in Howick since 1978. He has a keen interest in mind-body medicine.
Graeme is married with two children and two grandchildren, is a keen skier and enjoys gardening.

Dr BRONWYN LLOYD

Bronwyn Lloyd joined Howick House Medical in 2005. She enjoys all aspects of General Practice but especially the privilege of caring for families and individuals through various stages of their lives.
She was born in Sydney, Australia and graduated from the University of NSW in 1988. She completed her GP training in 1993 in Australia. In 1994 she moved to Auckland and has worked locally in General Practice since.
She is married with two adult daughters.

Katharine became a valued member of Howick House Medical in 2011 after relocating from the UK in 2007. With over 30 years of experience in general practice across both New Zealand and the UK, she brings a wealth of expertise to her work, particularly in Paediatrics and Women’s Health. As a dedicated professional, Katharine is committed to an inclusive approach to healthcare, focusing on the whole person rather than just the symptoms. She is also a proud mother to three adult children.

Dr PAUL NORTON

Paul has worked as a locum with Howick House Medical for over half a decade, becoming a permanent member of the team in 2021 and now working Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. We are extremely lucky to have his contribution to our team and appreciate his depth of knowledge and experience very much. Paul shares the commitment to high quality care offered by the general practice team here at Howick House Medical. His clinical interests are diverse and include general medicine (conditions of the heart, lungs, bowels, kidneys, liver, joints etc), paediatrics, men’s health, mental health, and geriatric medicine.
When not at work Paul enjoys sailing, paddleboarding and playing with his grandchildren.

Dr ANDREW NELSON

Andrew joined the Howick House Medical team at the start of 2025 and enjoys all aspects of General Practice. He completed his medical degree at the University of Auckland after a career as a captain in the British army and has a special interest in Travel Medicine.
Andy is married with a young daughter and enjoys travel and going to the movies.

Dr YAW MOH

Yaw was born in Singapore, is of Chinese ethnicity, and emigrated to New Zealand with his family in the mid 1970’s, settling in the Eastern Suburbs of Auckland, where he also schooled. Yaw attended the University of Auckland’s School of Medicine and graduated in 1995. He did his first year of residency in Rotorua Hospital in 1995, and after three years in the hospital system he entered the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioner’s Registrar Programme to specialise in General Practice which he completed in 1999. He then obtained his Fellowship in General Practice in 2003.
Yaw has worked in a wide variety of practices, ranging from rural to urban city. He worked in Howick House Medical previously from 2016 to 2021.

OUR NURSES
We have a team of caring and knowledgeable nurses including Kay, Romika, Debbie and Linda. They have many years of experience between them and are fully involved in the care of our patients. They are all certified vaccinators. We also have qualified nurse smear takers.
ADMINISTRATION AND RECEPTION
Our receptionists and administration team are led by Dean, our Practice Manager. Our receptionists include Margaret, Justine, Kristina, Linda Stephenson and Linda Bielby. They run reception with a friendly and competent manner. They will welcome you, answer enquiries and manage your appointments and payments.
